Pratty Flowers

Formed in 2012 Holmfirth WI are a fairly new WI that embraces women of all ages. We are very pleased that you've found us and we hope to offer all our members the opportunity to make new friends, and learn and experience different skills and activities. We endeavour to bring you a fabulous mix of events to enjoy throughout the year. To date we have enjoyed meetings on a wide variety of topics which have included pottery, local history, bread making, Edwardian fashion, gin sampling, quilting, birds of prey, food tasting, bhangra dancing, bell ringing and local theatre.
Our committee and sub groups put together exciting annual programmes of events which promise to include a variety of activities: walks, bike rides, bakes, books, crafts, and inspirational speakers.

Each year we choose a local charity to support. In December 2021
Food Waste & Food Poverty
was voted in as our campaign for the following year. We will be therefore be supporting our two local food banks: Holme Valley Food Bank (also known as Food Bank Volunteers) and the Full Life Church by collecting items for them at all of our meetings during 2022.
