Pam Robinson put on a fabulous demonstration of repurposing fabric into fashion items that are not only stylish but also environmentally conscious, making them fit for a runway. During her engaging presentation, she showcased her innovative techniques for transforming discarded textiles into chic garments, illustrating how sustainable fashion can be both beautiful and functional. Pam meticulously explained the process of taking a simple, flat piece of fabric and skilfully manipulating it through the use of darts and various shaping techniques. This transformation allows the fabric to contour and hug the curves of the body, creating flattering silhouettes that enhance the wearer's natural shape.
In addition to the fashion demonstration, our 'Restart a Heart' campaign is going from strength to strength, gaining momentum and support within the community. This initiative, aimed at raising awareness about heart health and the importance of CPR training, has seen increased participation and engagement from local organisations and individuals alike. Keep your eye out for our forthcoming events and activities.
