Our Something Social group were busy again towards the end of the week with a daytime visit to Sunny Bank Mills in Leeds, where they film The Great British Sewing Bee. What an amazing place: there was lots to visit including the gallery, yarn shop, scrap shop (well worth a visit if you need 250 doilies and some pipe cleaners!), haberdashery, artist's studios, mill archives, weaving rooms, cafes and of course, the enormous room where they film the Sewing Bee.
