Our Something Social sub group aimed to complete 10 events over the 6 months leading up to our Anniversary date. This started with a meander around Holmfirth Art Week. We then visited the M&S Clothing Archive in Leeds, we enjoyed 5 trips to the cinema to see Elvis, The Railway Children Return, Mrs Harris goes to Paris, Ticket to Paradise, and Living. We braved the outdoors to enjoy Mikron Theatre's production of Raising Agent at the Holmfirth Community Gardens. We undertook a gentle walk to visit our 3 local orchards and we finished off the year with a great Curry night at Sweet Chillies. We're Looking forward to many more social gatherings in the coming year.
