WI JAM AND CHUTNEY MAKING AT HOLMFIRTH HIGH SCHOOL 23rd SEPTEMBER AT 19.00
Please note the following
We are now meeting at 7.00 and have the room till 9.00 – this is tight so please note we are starting at 7.00 not 7.30.
Have seen the room today and there are basic gas and electric hobs to work with. There is no suitable equipment so if you need saucepans, sharp knives, ladles, wooden spoons etc please bring them with you. We will have scales for measuring.
If we run out of time and the pots are still too hot to handle we will be able to leave them in a cupboard to collect the next day.
If planning recipes we will have cooking apples, crab apple liquid and some brambles. Please bring any other ingredients, or just come and help cut, stir, and enjoy.
ON ARRIVAL
You can take your car onto the campus, go down the drive and bear right – the car park is signposted.
Or you can park on the road and walk down.
Either way please make your way to the main Reception which is at the bottom of the main drive prior to bearing right for the car park.
There should be someone on Reception – you are looking for DT5.
If not walk to the bottom of the reception room, turn left, at the first cross roads of corridors turn left, go up the three flights of stairs and when you can go no more DT5 is on the right.
There will be sign posts on the corridor but if you get lost ring 07769703660.
