We held our AGM without our new President as she is currently on a World Tour! Our Vice President Sarah stepped in (yet again) and confidently steered us through the AGM with the Vice President, Assistant Secretary and Treasurer presenting the official Annual Reports. We also nominated our Committee and welcomed a new member, Kerry. We enjoyed a very informative talk by Deb from the Pennine Domestic Abuse Partnership. PDAP are our charity of the year, and Deb explained what we could do to help her clients and thanked us for our very generous donation of toiletries. Our So Crafty group handed in their poppies as part of the Standing with Giants initiative. These poppies will be posted off and will be used to decorate the plinths of the crates that are transporting the soldier silhouettes to Normandy. We ended our evening tasting and scoring 3 different non alcoholic wines and enjoyed cheese and biscuits to top it all off! Overall a very busy and very enjoyable evening.
