Kate, our new President was back from her world travels to host this months meeting and a massive thank you goes out to the First Responders who took us through the life saving steps of CPR and defibrillation. We learned the difference between identifying a Cardiac Arrest and a Heart Attack, and were taken through the stages of what we would need to do to help save the life of someone who was experiencing either of these episodes. As you can see, many of our members had a go at chest compressions - they said it was exhausting! Another thank you goes out to Sian from Holme Valley Climate Action Partnership who told us about our 7 local community gardens, what they offered and how we can get involved. We'll hopefully be doing more work with Sian in the future.
