Escape to the Dark Side

What a hectic meeting! We participated in a quiz about the locations of our local defibrillators, and our members contributed a large number of toothbrushes and toothpaste for our Campaigns group's latest Dental Health Matters project. Our bakers outdid themselves with impressive cakes, and we gained insights into self-publishing. Our speaker, Helena M Craggs, who had just launched her book, detailed the self-publishing process. We learned about proofreading, editing, and the different versions of the published pages. We listened to an excerpt and browsed some of the advance copies she brought with her. A very busy, lively and educational meeting.
