This was posted on the Holmfirth Community Facebook page: 'If you go down to the wood today........ you may see Chris and Melanie, members of the Holmfirth WI litter picking on their walk through Sands Woods. A fantastic job they'd done too attempting to turn back the the tide of litter that so many people feel is their divine right to drop'. Well done also to Carol and Jenny, our other two WI Wombles out on that day.
