What an educational evening spent with Robert Grieve learning about sign language. Robbie is a sign language interpreter who supports clients within the legal system as a court interpreter. Robbie showed us how finger spelling works with your hand as paper and using your index fingers and whole hands to represent individual letters. He showed us some basic gestures to enable us to hold a basic conversation and he also explained the importance of facial expressions. A truly fascinating insight into basic sign language.
