What a great evening spent in the company of Fiona Timbs, the only woman bagpiper from the Beverley and District Pipe Band. We were treated to some truly amazing tunes, and Fiona even took requests! We learned about the history of women bagpipers, bagpiping music, what makes up a set of bagpipes, essential maintenance and tuning. Thank you so much Fiona for a truly fascinating and educational evening.
