Wentworth Garden Centre and Afternoon Tea

We can't keep away from Wentworth Woodhouse this year! This time, members of the Pratty Flowers and Veg Gardening Sub Group embarked on a delightful outing to explore the rich offerings of the garden centre, a place renowned for its stunning array of plants, flowers, and gardening supplies. The garden centre was a veritable paradise for gardening enthusiasts, filled with vibrant blooms and lush greenery and after a leisurely stroll through the garden centre, the group was treated to a delicious and decadent afternoon tea, a perfect way to unwind and reflect on their experiences. The afternoon tea was a lavish spread, featuring an assortment of freshly baked scones served with clotted cream and homemade jam, a variety of delicate finger sandwiches filled with delightful ingredients, and an array of exquisite pastries that were almost too beautiful to eat. Everyone enjoyed the day immensely, leaving with not only new plants for their gardens but also cherished memories of shared experiences and the joy of being part of a passionate community dedicated to gardening.
